£35,000 – £40,000 plus benefits

A great opportunity has become available to join a growing medium-sized Building Services contractor based in Birmingham. The company has had a busy 12-months despite the ongoing pandemic and are now in a position to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their design team.

Mechanical Design Engineer – Duties  

• Design of mechanical services projects
• Heat Loss and Heat Gain Calculations
• Preparing tenders
• Site Surveys
• Prepare Equipment Schedules
• Undertaking feasibly studies and offering design solutions
• Utilising IES & Hevacomp software to complete designs
• Attend Project Design Team Meetings

Mechanical Design Engineer – Requirements

• HNC in Building Services Engineering
• Experienced in the use of AutoCAD, IES and Hevacomp
• Experience of working for a Building Services Contractor 
• Estimating experience would be beneficial but not essential
